There are many beautiful flower sights that colour Kofu City in four seasons.
Here is some of the best sights.
◆ Furoen (early February – Late March)
Over 3,200 plum trees, more than 20 different types of plums, such as red plum, Koume, Fufu-ume, Bungo-ume, rare species from China bloom all over the Furoen which has been opened since 1897, and let us know the arrival of spring in Kofu basin.
There is a walk path like a maze between trees and large rocks, then an observatory to see Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps as you climb up.

◆ Jion Temple (late April – early May)
The wisteria at Jion Temple is over 200 years old and has been designated as a prefectural natural treasure.
Beautiful pale purple flowers hanging down from a large trellis of about 100 square meters, you must see the beauty.
