SADOYA is a well-established winery founded in 1917, a 5-minute walk from JR Kofu Station.
An oil shop continued since Edo period changed into a western liquor shop and then established as a brewery. Since then, we have brewed full-fledged dry wines using home-grown grapes.
The on-site shop boasts SADOYA’s wine for sale, as well as vintage wines and brandies aged over 50 years can be tasted (at a charge) at the in-store bar.
In the basement wine cellar of about 2314 square meters, there are barrel reservoirs, bottle storage depots, machines once used for winemaking, an exhibition room in a tank. When participating in the tour, you can learn about the history of SADOYA and the winemaking from the explanation of the staff.
There is also a restaurant on the premises where you can enjoy French cuisine and wine.
